Their debut album, Wild Like Children (2004), issued by Team Love Records, earned critical acclaim and launched national tours with Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, and Of Montreal. In 2006, Bottoms of Barrels (2006) followed, accompanied by the single "The Freest Man" (2007), which received a CSS remix; the group appeared on Late Show with David Letterman and performed at Coachella. The 2008 album o featured singles "Pot Kettle Black" and "Beat Control"; the former was featured in the film Whip It and the video game Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Heavy Mood (2012) was released on Team Love, marking the band’s final studio effort before their dissolution.
