Biography
Thy Majestie is an Italian power and symphonic metal band formed in 1999 by Giuseppe Bondì and Claudio Diprima. Their initial release was the three-track demo Sword, Crown and Shields, followed by Perpetual Glory (1999). The band signed with Scarlet Records and released their debut album The Lasting Power in 2000. Their subsequent albums include Hastings 1066 (2002) and Jeanne d'Arc (2005). Notable lineup changes occurred throughout their career, including the departure of vocalist Dario Grillo in 2003. Thy Majestie released the album Dawn (2008) via Dark Balance Records, and their fifth full-length album ShiHuangDi (2012) through Scarlet Records.
