Biography
Meliah Rage is an American power and thrash metal band formed in 1987 in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by guitarist Anthony Nichols, the group's lineup included vocalist Mike Munro, guitarist Jim Koury, drummer Stuart Dowie and bassist Jesse Johnson. Their debut demo secured a contract with Epic Records, leading to the release of their first album, Kill to Survive (1988). Notable tours followed, including performances with Metal Church and Slayer. The band's discography includes albums such as Solitary Solitude (1990), Death Valley Dream (1996) and Barely Human (2004). Significant milestones include the release of "Halo of Flies" (2011), a cover version of an Alice Cooper song, on their album Dead to the World (2011). The band released further albums including Warrior (2014), Idol Hands (2018) and Slaves in the Afterlife (2026).
