Biography

The Young Punx, an English electronic dance music group, was formed in 2003. The band gained initial attention through white-label bootleg dance records, sampling unlikely source material. Their tongue-in-cheek disco house bootleg "Got Your Number" became a UK clubland phenomenon in late 2003. The Young Punx released their EP, Rockall, in 2006, followed by You've Got to... in 2007. They performed at major international festivals, including Glastonbury Festival (2007) and Summer Sonic Festival (2007). Their debut album, Your Music Is Killing Me, was released in 2007/2008, MASHitUP in 2008, and All These Things Are Gone, in 2014.
