Biography

Moderat is a band from Germany founded in 2002, consisting of the musician Apparat and the DJ duo Modeselektor. Musically, Moderat play electronic music and minimal techno. their debut EP Auf Kosten Der Gesundheit was released in 2003. The electro band's first official album, Moderat, did not follow until 2009. With the album II, Moderat achieved their first chart entry in Germany in 2013, reaching number 10. The longplayer also made it to number 73 in the UK. The single "Bad Kingdom" becomes an indie hit. in 2016, Moderat made it into the top 10 in Germany with the album III at number 5. After the live album Live (2016), Moderat return in 2022 with the longplayer More D4ta.
