Biography

The Wealdstone Raider is builder Gordon Hill, a fanatical fan of non-league Wealdstone FC. The diminutive Hill became an Internet sensation in 2014 after a video of him was uploaded to YouTube showing him taunting Whitehawk FC fans with cries of, 'You Want Some, I'll Give It Ya?' and 'You Got No Fans'. It became a viral sensation and inspired numerous memes. Hill's nickname of The Wealdstone Raider came from the title of the original YouTube video. The Wealdstone Raider gained a sizeable Twitter following and celebrity fans included Harry Judd of McFly. As a publicity stunt he invaded a press conference by boxer Tyson Fury, asking him 'You Want Some?' In 2014 he released a charity single 'Got No Fans', featuring his jibes accompanied by a techno soundtrack. It made the top five of the British charts that Christmas. The royalties went to various charities including a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital, where he was treated for toxoplasmosis as a child.
