Biography

Originally a quartet comprising Allison, Felicidad, Tonya and Yazz, Sister Queen was reduced to a duo of the last two drag queens when success came knocking on the door in 1995 with the track "Let Me Be A Drag Queen". The house track, which reached #9 in the Top 50 that year, was followed a year later by "Saturday (Every Man A Queen)", which peaked at #43. After the Japanese release of The Album, including original versions and other remixes, Sister Queen once again rocked the dancefloors, this time in the company of pianist Richard Clayderman, whose theme "Ballade pour Adeline " provided the framework for the duo's latest achievement, "Cyber Queen", released in 1997 without any convincing results. 2011 sees the release of a new version of the hit "Let Me Be A Drag Queen".
