Teen Queens were an Australian pop music girl group formed in Sydney in 1991, consisting of model-singer-actresses Roxanne Clarke, Kellie Crawford, and Liza Witt. The trio initially gained attention through a pilot episode for a TV show about a girl group set in the 1960s, which ultimately led to their formation as a dance-pop act. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Be My Baby" in May 1992, a cover version that reached Number 6 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The group's debut album, Get Happy!, was released in November 1992 and peaked at Number 36 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It featured several classic songs from the '60s and included their subsequent hit singles "I Can't Help Myself" (Number 28) and "Love How You Love Me" (Number 14). The group also appeared on the TV soap opera E Street and provided vocals for a Coca-Cola TV ad. Their final single, "Baby It's You", was released in April 1993 and peaked at Number 91. A second album, Get Happy! II, was released in July 1993 before the group disbanded later that year.
