Biography
The Spudmonsters are an American hardcore punk and thrash metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, that formed in 1989. The ensemble was founded by the vocalist Don Foose, the guitarists Scott Roberts and Chris Andrews, the bassist Steve Swanson, and the drummer Eric Matthews. They made their first recording appearance on the compilation Metal Massacre XI (1991). After signing with the German label Massacre Records, they released their debut studio album, Stop the Madness (1993), and toured with the group Biohazard. Following the departure of Andrews, the ensemble added the guitarist Eric Klinger and released the recording No Guarantees (1995). Their discography includes the studio album Moment of Truth (1996). After a period of inactivity starting in 1998, the ensemble reunited and released the recording Stand Up for What You Believe (2011).
