Biography

The Small Glories is a Canadian folk duo from Winnipeg, composed of Cara Luft and J.D. Edwards. Both musicians perform on guitar and vocals. The duo's origins trace back to 2012 when they first played together at a 25th-anniversary show for the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg. In 2014, Edwards joined Luft on her solo tour, marking their initial collaboration. Their debut album as The Small Glories, Wondrous Traveler, was self-released in 2016. For their second album, Assiniboine & the Red (2019), they worked with producer Neil Osborne of 54-40 and released it through Red House Records.
