The Resentments are an American musical group from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2000, they initially gained recognition as a live band, performing at events such as the SouthâbyâSouthwest Festival and regular sessions at the Saxon Pub. Their debut album Sunday Night Line-Up was released in 2003. The Resentmentsâ discography includes Live in Frankfurt 29. September 2003 (2003), The Resentments (2004), Switcheroo (2005), On My Way to See You (2007), Roselight (2008), a live album Welcome to Our Living Room â Live at the Lab in Stuttgart (2012), and Ghost Ship (2013). They have toured repeatedly in Europe, and their music blends elements of country, rockâânâ-roll, blues, and rock. The bandâs drummer, Johnâ¯Chipman, was also a member of the Band of Heathens from 2007 to 2012.
