Randy Weeks, born Randall Barry Weeks in Windom, Minnesota, is an American singer and songwriter. He started playing drums at a young age and later switched to guitar, performing with local bands. In the mid-1980s, Weeks moved to Los Angeles where he formed the country-rock band Lonesome Strangers with Jeff Rymes. The band released their debut album Lonesome Pine in 1986. Weeks' solo career began with the release of his debut album Madeline in 2000. His song "Can't Let Go" became a significant hit when it was covered by Lucinda Williams on her Grammy-winning album Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. Weeks continued to release albums including Sold Out at the Cinema in 2004, Sugarfinger in 2006, and Going My Way in 2009. His music has been featured in several films such as Shallow Hal, Stuck on You, and Sunshine State.
