Biography
The Montgolfier Brothers, a British indie pop-dream duo, formed in 1999, consisting of Mark Tranmer and Roger Quigley. Their debut album Seventeen Stars was released in 1999 via the Vespertine label, with notable tracks including "Pro-Celebrity Standing Around" and "Between Two Points". The latter song was later covered by David Gilmour and his daughter Romany Gilmour. In 2002, they released their second album The World Is Flat on Poptones imprint. Their third album All My Bad Thoughts followed in 2005. Roger Quigley passed away on August 18, 2020.
