Biography

The Lucky Bullets is a Norwegian rockabilly ensemble formed in Oslo in 2006. The group was established by Knud Kleppe, Stian Nybru, and Svein Åge Lillehamre, who shared a passion for 1950s rock and roll. After performing in clubs across Eastern Norway, the lineup was finalized in 2008 with guitarist Even Lundquist. The band received widespread attention that year following a performance on the main stage at by:Larm. In 2011, the group achieved national fame by placing third in Melodi Grand Prix, the selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the single “Fire Below”. Following the release of their debut EP, Gold Digger (2008), the band signed with Grappa Records. Their first full-length album, Dead Man's Shoes, was issued in 2012. The band’s discography also includes singles such as “Big Fat Dolly” (2007), “Saturday Night” (2012), and “Cry of the Wild Goose” (2013).
