Biography

Initially called The Real McCoys, The Jeremy Days signed to Polydor in the late 1980s and released a self-titled debut album in 1988. The production team consisted of Englishmen Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley and the album contained a number of stand-out tracks, the most notable of which was 'Brand New Toy' which went to number 11 in the German charts and eventually became the band's signature single. The band released five albums between 1988 and 1995 and etched themselves into German pop history albeit in a limited way. The original drummer Stefan Rager left in 1994 to be replaced by Rob Feigel who joined the original founding members Dirk Darmstaedter on guitar, Christoph Kaiser on bass, Louis Oberlander on keyboard and guitarist Jörn-Christof Heilbut. The band now take part in sporadic reunions which are always well-attended by their fans and in January 2019 held a sell-out concert in the Hamburg docks.
