The Heavy Souls are a dynamic blues-rock band hailing from Sheffield, England, renowned for their raw and unapologetic sound that channels the gritty spirit of their industrial hometown. Formed in 2015 under the name Stand Amongst Giants, the band initially crafted a blend of blues guitar-based music infused with a modern heavy rock attitude. In 2023, they rebranded as The Heavy Souls to better represent the evolution of their sound. Drawing inspiration from rock and blues legends such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Queens of the Stone Age, as well as modern influences like Rival Sons and Royal Blood, The Heavy Souls have developed a distinctive style characterized by blistering guitar riffs, powerful rhythms, and soul-stirring vocals. In January 2025, the band released their debut album, Have You Got Soul, through TMR Rock Records. The album features tracks like "She Devil," "Rise and Fall," and "Sleepwalking," showcasing their ability to blend raw emotion with technical precision.
