Biography
The British Stereo Collective is the musical project of British composer and producer Phil Heeks, whose retro-inspired music evokes 1970s and 1980s TV series credits, vintage synthesizer soundtracks and sound library records. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, The British Stereo Collective produced the albums Mystery Fields (2021), Our Future Presentation (2022), Tomorrow, the Stars (2022), Drowning (2023), In the Shadow of the Bomb (2024) and Iniquitous (2024), which reached number 43 in the UK download charts. A prolific musician, Phil Heeks followed this up with Exogenesis (2024), Starbust: The Album (2025), New Electric Frontiers (2025) and Horizon 9 (2025).
