Bram Vanparys is a Belgian pop singer-songwriter born on March 18, 1986, in Ghent. He performed under the moniker The Bony King of Nowhere, a name derived from the children's program Bagpuss or the Radiohead song âThere, Thereâ. Vanparys released his debut studio recording, Alas My Love, in February 2009. His discography included the studio albums Eleonore (2011) and The Bony King of Nowhere (2012). He composed the music for the films 22 mei (2010) and The Giants (2011). In 2015, he simplified his stage name to Bony King and released the studio recording Wild Flowers. Vanparys performed at the Pukkelpop and Folk Dranouter festivals. He resumed using his original stage name for the studio recordings Silent Days (2018) and Everybody Knows (2024).
