Biography
The Blood Brothers, a post-hardcore band from Seattle's Eastside suburbs, formed in 1997. The group consisted of singers Jordan Blilie and Johnny Whitney, drummer Mark Gajadhar, bassist Morgan Henderson, and guitarist Cody Votolato. They recorded their first 7-inch record the following year. In July 2002, they toured with The Cancer Conspiracy and The Rocking Horse Winner. Their third album, ...Burn, Piano Island, Burn, was released in 2003 produced by Ross Robinson. The Blood Brothers' fifth and final album, Young Machetes, was released i, 2006, with Fugazi member Guy Picciotto co-producing it. The band officially broke up in June 2007 but kept the information from the public until November 2007. They reunited for a series of shows surrounding and including FYF Fest in 2014 and again in 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Crimes.
