Biography
The Black League were a Finnish heavy metal band from Oulu formed in 1998. The ensemble was founded by Taneli Jarva and achieved professional recognition for a musical style incorporating rock 'n' roll elements. The founding lineup included Maike Valanne, Alexi Ranta, Mikko Laurila, and Kimmo Luttinen. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Ichor (2000), followed by Utopia A.D. (2001). They released the extended play Doomsday Sun (2001) and the studio recording Man's Ruin Revisited (2004). Their discography includes the track âCold Women & Warm Beerâ (2003). The ensemble became inactive in 2014.
