Biography

Acoustic Guitars, a Danish musical quintet formed in 1987, was influenced by Spanish, Arab, and Indian music. The band consisted of Mikkel Nordsø, Christian Ratzer, Steen Kyed, Klavs Nordsø, and Ole Theill. Their debut album Acoustic Guitars featured the notable guest appearance of NHØP. In 1987, Acoustic Guitars released their self-titled debut album on Sundance Records. They followed this with Gajos in Disguise (1990) and Out of the Blue (1995). The band also collaborated with Nanna on several releases including "I østen stiger solen op" from Pa-Papegøje! (1994), "Bim bam busse" from Tangokat (1995), and "Dyrene i Afrika" from Hej Frede! (1996). Their final album, Arabesque, was released in 2002.
