Terrence Kelly, known professionally as Terry Kelly, is a Canadian country and folk music singer born in 1955 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. His recording career began in high school when he released five albums with the instrumental band The Stringbusters. In 1985, Kelly released his first solo album, On the Move, followed by Face to Face in 1988 and Divided Highway in 1992. The latter included the single "In My Father's House", which was nominated for Single and SOCAN Song of the Year at the 1993 Canadian Country Music Association Awards. In 1996, he released his fourth album, Far Cry from Leaving. Other notable album releases include The Power of the Dream (2002), Old Tyme Christmas (2004), and Always There (2013). Kelly has won seven East Coast Music Awards and was nominated for a Juno Award in 1995.
