Biography

Teddy Robin & The Playboys was a Hong Kong English pop and rock band formed in the 1960s. The group consisted of Teddy Robin, Norman Cheng, William Kwan, Raymond Kwan, Frederick Chan, and Ricky Chan, with Teddy Robin serving as the lead vocalist and guitarist. Their first EP, "Lies" b/w "Six Days in May", was released in 1966, marking their debut in the music scene. The band performed popular cover hits during their career, including the song "Carousel". The band's music was compiled in albums such as The Best Of... (1969) and The 'In' Sounds of Hong Kong! (2005), with a compilation titled Teddy Robin & The Playboys released in 2008.
