The band's name translates to "the wimps," reflecting the anti-masculine climate of Denmark during the 1970s. In 1981, the band released Tiden Står Stille, marking the beginning of a prolific career that saw them release six studio albums by 1985. Subsequent releases include 3 (1982) and I Sikre Hænder (1985). Their music achieved significant success in Denmark, with their albums selling over a million copies. Tøsedrengene disbanded in 1985.
