Tanner Adell is an American country singer and songwriter born on June 27, 1996, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was adopted and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and received training in piano, violin, and string bass. Adell relocated to Nashville in 2021 and signed with the label Columbia Records. Her recording career began with the debut single "Honky Tonk Heaven" (2021) followed by the debut extended play Last Call (2022). She released the studio recording Buckle Bunny (2023), the title track of which reached wider visibility after being recognized as one of the best songs of the year by NPR. In 2024, Adell performed as a featured artist on the Beyoncé studio recording Cowboy Carter, contributing to the track "Blackbiird" and providing background vocals for "Ameriican Requiiem". Following her departure from Columbia Records, she signed with the label Love Renaissance in June 2024. Her discography included the singles "I Hate Texas" (2023) and "Whiskey Blues" (2024).
