Tango Astral is an Argentine pop duo formed by singer-songwriter and producer Luca Bocci and musician Nicolás de Sanctis, blending elements of groove, rock, and indie sensibilities. The project emerged in early 2023 when the two artists, living together, began casually composing music that soon evolved into a full-fledged collaboration. Their songwriting process took shape through long jam sessions in their apartment, impromptu performances in plazas and bars, and dedicated studio work, culminating in their debut single, "Faro." The duo's name reflects their exploratory approach to soundâa mix of deep emotion and cosmic influence. Luca Bocci, a key figure in Argentinaâs Mendoza indie scene, has collaborated with various artists, while de Sanctis, best known for his work with Indios, has also built a solo career with two studio albums. Tango Astral, their self-titled debut album, dropped in 2024.
