Biography

Zoe Gotusso, an Argentine singer-songwriter from Córdoba born on May 22, 1997, gained prominence as one half of the duo Salvapantallas before launching a successful solo career. With Salvapantallas, she released the album SMS in 2018, earning two Gardel Award nominations and collaborating with Jorge Drexler. The duo disbanded in 2019, culminating in a farewell tour. As a solo artist, Zoe Gotusso debuted with Mi primer día triste in 2020, a critically acclaimed album recorded in Montevideo and produced by Juan Campodónico. Featuring tracks like "Ganas" and "Cuarto creciente," the album won the Gardel Award for Best Pop Album in 2021 and showcased her bossa nova and pop sensibilities. She gained further recognition by opening for Coldplay during their Music of the Spheres World Tour in Buenos Aires in 2022. Recent highlights include her 2024 album Cursi, featuring the single "Pensando en ti," and collaborations with artists like No Te Va Gustar and El Kuelgue. She also opened for Fito Páez in Paraguay and Paul McCartney in Córdoba, cementing her status as a rising star in Latin American music. Alongside her music, Zoe Gotusso made her acting debut in the 2023 film Mariquita, mujer revolución.
