Biography
Bamboo, a Filipino alternative rock band fronted by Bamboo Mañalac, was formed in 2003. The group gained initial traction with their debut singles "Mr Clay" and "Noypi", both released in July 2004. Their self-titled album followed in January 2005. Subsequent albums included Light Peace Love (2005) and La Musica Se Siente (2007). In 2008, the band released Tomorrow Becomes Yesterday. The band disbanded in 2011, with the members, excluding Mañalac, reforming as Hijo.
