Súnas, an Australian Celtic music group based in Brisbane, formed in 2008. The band initially consisted of members Sarah Calderwood, Paul Brandon, Mannie McAllister, Michael Patrick, Bridget Masters, and Jamie Corfield, who played a variety of instruments including flute, whistles, bouzouki, mandolin, guitar, bodhran, gazoukie, and fiddle. Súnas released their debut album, A Breath Away from Shadow, in January 2008. Their follow-up album, Celtic Road, was released in February 2011 and peaked at number 4 on the ARIA Classical Albums chart.
