Biography

Stolen Babies, an American experimental rock band formed in 2001, consisting of vocalist/accordionist Dominique Lenore Persi and twin brothers Rani Sharone (bassist/guitarist) and Gil Sharone (drummer). The group originated from a high school performance troupe named The Fratellis. Stolen Babies released their first demo CD through No Comment Records, showcasing influences from groups like Oingo Boingo and Mr. Bungle. Their debut full-length album There Be Squabbles Ahead was released in 2006 through The End Records, featuring remixed versions of tracks from their 2004 demo. The band supported Lacuna Coil on their 2007 tour and participated in various notable tours, including the Epic Kings & Idols tour with Devin Townsend in 2012. Stolen Babies released their album Naught in October 2012, followed by a single "Stolen Babies" in July 2020 and a cover of the theme song to the stop-motion animated film Mad Monster Party? in October 2021.
