Biography

Stephen George Hiett, born on December 26, 1940 in Oxford, England, was a British guitarist, photographer, artist, and graphic designer. After studying painting at Worthing Art School and graphic design at Brighton Art School, Hiett began his music career by joining the psych/pop band Pyramid. In the 1980s, he released his first guitar solo album Down on the Road by the Beach in Japan for Sony/CBS Records.
