Stef Carlens, born Stef Kamil Carlens on September 27, 1970, in Schoten, Belgium, is a bassist known for his contributions to rock music. He began his career as part of the indie group Zita Swoon, initially known as A Beatband and Moondog Jr., which evolved into the polymathic ensemble Zita Swoon Group. Carlens also played bass and sang with dEUS before leaving in 1997 to focus on Zita Swoon.
