Born in Angoulême in 1998, author, composer, musician and performer Léo Meynard is better known as St Graal, a pseudonym inspired by the Monty Python film Sacré Graal. He began taking guitar lessons in his teens, before studying opera singing for four years at the Conservatoire d'Angoulême, followed by two years at the Faculté de Musique de Bordeaux. He works as a medical-psychological assistant, and keeps in touch with music by DJing at parties. His music videos posted on social networks gained notoriety during the Covid-19 pandemic, notably the track "Les Dauphins", which went viral in 2021 and really launched his career. Invited to Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges in 2022, St Graal wins the Prix du Public and, after the release of a first EP in 2019, Pulsions, Le Coeur Qui Cogne follows in 2023. In 2024, a new nine-track EP, Les Extraordinaires Histoires d'Amour de St Graal, is released, featuring singles such as "Je t'emmènerai" and "Resto basket", and a duet with Kalika on "Premier baiser". Following the release of the singles "Les Garçons et les filles" and "Techno boom boom" in 2025, St Graal completes its EP Les Dernières Histoires d'Amour de St Graal with new songs. The two EPs in the series are combined in the album Les Histoires d'Amour de St Graal, released simultaneously in January 2026.
