Coline Rio is a French author, composer, musician and singer from Nantes, born on October 9, 1996. Born into a family of musicians, she came into contact with singing and composition at an early age, learning the piano at six before writing her first songs. In the mid-2010s, she joined the electro-pop group Inuït, which recorded the EP Always Kelvin (2017) and the album Action (2018). As a solo artist, she switches to a more classical songwriting style, embellished with electronic and acoustic arrangements. The self-produced singles "Les Gens qui doutent" and "Horizon" were followed by the EP Lourd et Délicat and a cover of Michel Legrand's "Moulins de mon coeur", all released in 2022. The following year, "Elle laisse" foreshadowed the debut album Ce Qu'il Restera de Nous, a new version of which, Ce Qu'il Restera de Nous (Et Plus Encore), featured five new songs. In 2024, she collaborates with Albin de la Simone on "Ma mère", then Voyou on "Se dire au revoir", before the release of the mini album Ce Qui Nous Lie, featuring other guests such as Trio SR9, Dany Coutand or a collective featuring Laura Cahen, La Chica, Emily Loizeau, Camille, Barbara Pravi, Clou, Nach, Poppy Fusée and L (Raphaëlle Lannadère) on "Homme". In 2025, "Manteau chagrin" is the first single from the album Maison, including the duet "La Gentillesse" with Barbara Pravi.
