Biography

Jonah Sharp, known professionally as Spacetime Continuum, was born in Edinburgh and is an electronic music producer. He began his career as a jazz drummer in London before moving to San Francisco. His first release under the Spacetime Continuum moniker was Flurescence E.P. (1993). Following this, he released Alien Dreamtime (1993), which featured live recordings of Terence McKenna's lectures accompanied by his music. Throughout the 1990s, Sharp released several albums on Astralwerks, including Sea Biscuit (1994) and Double Fine Zone (2003). His work often combined experimental electronic music with jazz elements and intricate rhythm structures, influencing contemporary psybient artists. Notable collaborations include projects with Tetsu Inoue, Bill Laswell, and Pete Namlook. Sharp also remixed tracks for Nine Inch Nails and Meat Beat Manifesto.
