Biography

South Club, a Korean indie band formed in 2017, originated from Republic of Korea. Founded by Nam Tae-hyun, who served as vocalist, guitarist, composer, and producer, the group debuted with their first single "Hug Me" on May 26, 2017, included in their EP 90. The band's music is characterized by alternative rock with blues influences. In November 2017, Choi Yun-hee left the group due to personal reasons, reducing the lineup to four members. South Club continued to gain traction with performances at various festivals and concerts, including their first official concert in Seoul on November 18-19, 2017. The band's third single "누굴 위한 노래인가요 (Who Is This Song For?)" was released on December 5, 2017. In 2018, South Club embarked on international tours, including performances in Europe and Japan.
