Biography
There's no danger of the rich tradition of UK alternative rock disappearing as long as there are combos like Sound of Guns. Like so many of their glorious predecessors, from The La's to Oasis, the Liverpool fivesome combine the kind of rage with melody characteristic of bands from the north of England. Revealed in 2010 with the album What Came from Fire and the single "Architects", Sound of Guns returned in March 2012 with Angels and Enemies. The tour that followed earned Sound of Guns the AIM Award for Best Stage Performance of the Year.
