Biography

Aaron Earl Livingston, born 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American blues singer and guitarist known as Son Little. He first attracted attention with the single "Cross My Heart" in 2013, followed by the EP Things I Forgot released on 10 November 2014 through Anti‑Records. In 2015 he issued his debut studio album Son Little, and in 2017 followed with New Magic, featuring the single "Blue Magic" (6 June 2017). Subsequent albums Invisible (2019), aloha (2020), Like Neptune (2022), and Cityfolk (20 March 2026) expanded his catalogue. Collaborations with The Roots, RJD2, and Mavis Staples, and tours across North America, Europe, and major festivals such as Bonnaroo and Electric Forest, marked his career milestones.
