Biography

Cameron Thomas Tatham, known professionally as Sleepy Tom, was born on January 5, 1990, in Canada and is recognized for his work as a DJ and music producer. His early career saw the release of his debut EP The Currency on Fool's Gold Records in March 2013, which included the lead track "The Currency" that debuted on Rolling Stone’s website. In August 2014, he performed at the fifth annual Squamish Valley Music Festival. Sleepy Tom gained significant attention through remixes for prominent EDM artists such as Zeds Dead and Martin Solveig. His collaboration with Diplo resulted in the Platinum certified UK hit "Be Right There" in 2015, marking a pivotal moment in his career. This track not only achieved commercial success but also expanded Sleepy Tom's reach to international audiences. Throughout his career, Sleepy Tom has continued to release music that blends various genres within electronic and dance music. His album Ghibli, Anime & Chill Anime & Chill (2021) showcased his versatility as a producer, incorporating elements of anime culture into his work. This Thing Called Life (2023), further demonstrating his evolution as an artist.
