Biography

Slechtvalk, a Dutch black metal band, was formed by singer/guitarist Shamgar. Initially known as Dommer, they released their debut album Falconry in 2000. Their second album, The War That Plagues the Lands, reached number 2 on Lowland's Top 50 Metal Charts in 2002. In 2005, Slechtvalk released At the Dawn of War. The band was signed to Whirlwind Records in 2009 and released A Forlorn Throne in 2010. Their album Where Wandering Shadows and Mists Collide followed in 2016. In 2024, Slechtvalk released At Death's Gate.
