Biography
Skegss is an Australian surf and garage rock trio from Byron Bay, New South Wales formed in 2014. The band consists of Jonny Lani on drums, Kelton Lee on bass, and Ben Reed on vocals and guitar. Their debut single "L.S.D" was released in July 2014. In April 2015, Noa Deane left the group to focus on his surfing career. Skegss continued as a trio and signed with Ratbag Records in June 2015, releasing their first EP 50 Push Ups for a Dollar that October. Their second EP Everyone is Good at Something, released in July 2016, peaked at number 4 on the ARIA Hitseekers Albums Chart. In September 2018, Skegss released their debut studio album My Own Mess, which reached number 2 on the ARIA Album Charts. The band's second studio album Rehearsal was released in March 2021 and peaked at number1 on the ARIA Charts. The group released their third album, Pacific Highway Music, in 2024.
