Biography

Hunx and His Punx, a punk band from San Francisco, California, was formed in 2008 by Seth Bogart. The group blended elements of 1960s girl groups with punk and bubblegum music. Their debut singles compilation album, Gay Singles, was released in February 2010. In April 2011, the band's debut full-length album, Too Young to Be in Love, was released on Hardly Art. The group disbanded in June 2011 following the departure of guitarists Amy Blaustein and Michelle Santamaria. Bogart then relocated to Los Angeles and released solo albums. Hunx and His Punx reunited in 2019, releasing Street Punk with new guitarist Nik Johnson. Their fourth studio album, Walk Out on This World, is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025 via Get Better Records.
