Skating Polly is an American rock band formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, in 2009 by multi-instrumentalist step-siblings Kelli Drew Mayo and Peyton Mckenna Bighorse. Their first album, Taking Over the World, was released in November 2010 by Nice People Records. In December 2011, Exene Cervenka of the punk band X produced their second album, Lost Wonderfuls, which was eventually released by SQE Music in April 2013. The band's third album, Fuzz Steilacoom, was recorded with K Records founder Calvin Johnson and released in spring 2014. Notable singles include "Benny Once Told Me" (2015), "Oddie Moore" (2016), and "Queen for a Day" (2018). The band has received praise from various musicians, including Rosanne Cash and Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips.
