Biography
Blues singer and pianist, little publicity has been given to her story. Yet she has spent her entire life on the stages of music festivals, traveling from one continent to another. Initially part of the Vaudeville scene, she pursued her career by recording mainly in the Blues sector (Sippie Wallace vol 1 & 2). She went on to sign several collaborations with the Storyville and Atlantic labels. Contrary to the idea that her very discreet discography might give of her, Sippie Wallace never stopped singing during her long career, often accompanied by Bonnie Raitt, another benchmark in Blues history.
