Laura Drew, known professionally as Singh Kaur and Lorellei, was an American new-age musician born in 1955. She began her musical journey at the Tucson ashram, where she was exposed to the 3HO community and later commissioned to compose and record music under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan. Her breakthrough came with the Crimson Series on Invincible Records, a collection of mantras that became highly popular and are frequently used in healing environments such as hospitals, birthing centers, and spas. Singh Kaur's biggest commercial success was her album Imagine Peace (1988), which made the Billboard New Age Music listing. She collaborated with various artists including Amar Singh Khalsa, and Dean and Dudley Evenson, releasing albums such as Peace Lagoon (1979) and This Universe (2005). In her later years, she moved to Maui, Hawaii, where she continued to write songs and perform. Singh Kaur passed away in 1998 due to ovarian cancer, leaving behind a body of work that includes exactly 23 albums.
