Biography

SikTh, a British progressive metal band from Watford, Hertfordshire, formed in late 1999 and solidified its lineup in March 2001. The group consisted of Mikee Goodman and Justin Hill on vocals, Dan Weller and Graham Pinney on guitars, James Leach on bass, and Dan Foord on drums. Their first official release was the EP Let the Transmitting Begin (2002), followed by another EP titled How May I Help You? (2002), which included a music video for "(If You Weren't So) Perfect" and an animated video for "How May I Help You?". SikTh's debut album, The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild, was released on August 18, 2003. They released their second album, Death of a Dead Day, in 2006. The band disbanded in May 2008 due to an inability to find replacements for their vocalists and commitments to other projects, but announced their reunion in December 2013 for performances starting in 2014. SikTh released their third album, The Future in Whose Eyes?, in 2017.
