Biography

Sibiria was a Swedish indie pop band from Östersund, signed to the Hybris record label. The band was founded in 2003 by guitarist Martin Abrahamsson, singer Martin Hanberg, and guitarist Erik Laquist. In 2003, they released the single "Sibiria" on April 2. This was followed by the single "Ljusdal" on February 11, 2004. In 2005, Sibiria signed with Hybris Records and released their debut album, Norrlands Inland, on September 28, 2005. Notable singles from these albums include "#3" (released August 8, 2004) and "Det har varit svårare" (released October 25, 2006). The band's second album, Inom familjen, followed on November 15, 2006. The band's lineup expanded in 2006 with the addition of drummer Eric Ramsey.
