Biography
Sienna Skies is a post-hardcore band from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia formed in 2006 by Michael Sankey and Nick Musgrave. The initial lineup included Steve Faull on vocals, Matt Wells on keyboards, Josh Wade on bass, and Luke Ziomek on drums. Their first official release, the EP Where Joy Exists, Despair Beckons, was self-financed in 2007. The band toured extensively along Australia's east coast and in New Zealand, sharing stages with acts like Family Force 5 and The Amity Affliction. Sienna Skies released their debut album, Truest of Colours, in 2009 via New Justice Records. Their subsequent albums included The Constant Climb (2012) and Seasons (2014). In September 2014, Steve Faull and Matt Wells left the band to pursue personal projects. Sienna Skies continued with a new singer and released A Darker Shade of Truth in 2016.
