Biography

Sick Individuals, a Dutch electronic music duo consisting of Rinze "Ray" Hofstee and Joep "Jim" Smeele, was formed in 2010 while studying at the Utrecht University of the Arts. Their breakthrough came with remixes for artists like Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia, notably "I Love It" by Icona Pop in 2012. In late 2013, collaborations with Axwell on "I Am" and Dannic on "Blueprint" propelled them to Number 1 of the Beatport charts. Sick Individuals have performed at major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland.
