Opus III, an English electronic music group, was founded in London in 1992. The band consisted of Kirsty Hawkshaw, Kevin Dodds, Ian Munro, and Nigel Walton. The group emerged from the early 1990s rave and club culture scene in the United Kingdom. They achieved their breakthrough in 1992 with the single âItâs a Fine Day.â The track was a reinterpretation of a 1983 song by Jane & Barton. The single reached number 5 on the UK charts and became a club hit in several European countries. Their debut album, Mind Fruit, was released that same year. Other notable singles include âI Talk to the Windâ (1992) and âWhen You Made the Mountainâ (1994). The band broke up in 1994.
